Get a Hot Water Quote on the Sunshine Coast
Tell us what your hot water system is doing and we will come back with the practical options. If you have no hot water right now, calling is faster than any form.
The quickest way to reach RCM is to call 0415 611 356. You will be speaking to Richard, who does the work, rather than to a call centre passing a message along.
If your hot water has failed completely, if a tank is leaking, or if you can smell gas near the system, call rather than filling in the form. A leaking cylinder can empty a tank into a wall cavity or a slab in a few hours, and gas needs looking at straight away.
We work across the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. For anything that can wait, the form below is better. It lets you give us the detail that decides the answer, and it means the first thing we say to you is useful rather than a set of questions.

What to send us, and why it helps
- 01
A photo of the whole system
Taken a couple of steps back, so we can see the unit, its mounting and the pipework around it. This tells us more about the job than almost anything you could type.
- 02
A photo of the data plate
The label on the side or front of the unit, carrying the brand, model and capacity. It is usually the fastest way to work out the age of a system and whether parts are still available.
- 03
Where the system sits
Outside on a wall, inside a cupboard, in a roof space, on the roof itself. Access changes what a replacement costs, and it is the thing most often missed when a quote turns out to be wrong.
- 04
What it is actually doing
No hot water at all, running out sooner than it used to, water not hot enough, a leak, a noise, a tripping breaker, a relief valve that will not stop dripping. The symptom narrows the cause a long way.
- 05
Your suburb
So we can tell you honestly whether you are inside the area we cover regularly, and what that means for getting to you.
- 06
How urgent it is
There is a real difference between a system that has failed and one you are planning to replace before it does. Say which, and we will treat it that way.
Request a quote
Tell us what is happening and we will come back with the practical options. A photo of the system, its brand plate and roughly where it sits saves a visit and sharpens the quote.

Frequently asked questions
What happens after I send the form?
It reaches Richard directly as an email, not a queue. He will call or message you back to talk through what the system is doing. If you marked it urgent, that is what he sees first in the subject line. There is no automated confirmation email, so if you want something in writing straight away, say so and he will send it.
Should I call or use the form?
Call if you have no hot water, if a tank is leaking, or if you can smell gas. Those are all faster on the phone and two of them are safety issues. Use the form for anything that can wait a few hours: a replacement you are planning, a comparison between systems, a quote for a rental property, or a fault that is annoying rather than urgent.
Do I need to know what system I have before I get in touch?
No. A photo of the unit and a photo of the label on its side answer it for you. That label carries the brand, model and capacity, and it usually tells us the age of the system and whether parts are still available. If you cannot get to it, tell us where the system sits and roughly how old the house is and we will work from there.
Do you cover my suburb?
We work across the Sunshine Coast and the hinterland behind it. Some areas at the edges are reached less often than others, and the service areas page splits them honestly rather than claiming the same coverage everywhere. If you are not sure, ask, and we will tell you plainly rather than taking the job and letting you down on timing.
Can you quote from photos, or do you need to visit?
Often from photos, for a like-for-like replacement where access is straightforward. A changeover between system types, anything involving a switchboard or a gas connection, and anything in a tight or awkward position usually needs a look first. We will tell you which of those yours is rather than sending a number that changes on the day.
What if the system fails again after you have been?
Call us. We would rather come back than have you call someone else, and a fault that returns usually means something upstream of the part that was replaced. Tell us what it is doing now and how long it worked for after the visit, because that pattern narrows it quickly.
No hot water right now?
Call rather than waiting on a reply. A failed system is worth a phone call.
