Sunshine Coast Hot Water Service Areas
Where we work regularly, where we travel to on different terms, and how to tell which one you are in.
RCM is based on the Sunshine Coast and works across the coast and hinterland. That is the area we can reach reliably, and it is where an urgent call is most likely to be answered the same day.
We also travel further north and south. Those trips happen, but they are not the same proposition as a job in Nambour, and it would be misleading to list them as though they were. If you are outside the core area, call and ask before you assume: it is a short conversation and it saves everyone a wasted expectation.

Why the distinction matters
A hot water failure is not a job you want to wait a week for. Everyone in the house notices it within about an hour, and a leaking cylinder can do real damage to a wall or a slab in that time.
Listing a service area you cannot actually service on that timescale is a way of winning a call and then disappointing someone who needed help. Splitting the list is the honest version: these are the areas we work in regularly, these are the ones we get to when we can, and here is how to find out which applies to you.
If your suburb is not named above, that does not automatically mean no. The coast and hinterland have a lot of small localities and this is not an exhaustive list. Call and ask.

Frequently asked questions
My suburb is not on the list. Does that mean you will not come?
No. The coast and hinterland have a lot of small localities and this is not an exhaustive list, it is the shape of where we work. If you are between the named areas you are almost certainly covered. Call and ask rather than assuming either way, and you will get a straight answer in about a minute.
Why are Gympie, Bribie Island and Morayfield listed separately?
Because they genuinely are separate. Gympie is an hour north of Noosa and Morayfield is most of the way to Brisbane. We do travel to them, but not on the same terms and not on the same notice as a job in Nambour. Listing them alongside the coast would win a call and then disappoint someone who needed help that day.
Do you charge more to come further out?
Ask when you call. Travel arrangements for the extended areas depend on the address and on what else is on that day, and quoting a figure here that turned out not to apply to you would be worse than telling you to ask.
Does the hinterland need anything different from the coast?
Often, yes. Hinterland properties more frequently run on tank water rather than mains, and that changes water pressure, which changes valve selection and sometimes the system itself. Access can also be tighter on rural blocks. It is worth mentioning your water supply when you get in touch.
Can you get to an emergency in my area today?
That depends on where you are and what is already booked, so it is a phone call rather than a page. What is true generally is that the Sunshine Coast areas above are the ones we are near most days, and the extended areas are not. If your hot water has failed, call rather than sending a form.
Not sure whether we cover you?
Call and ask. It takes a minute and you will get a straight answer.
