How these guides are written
Each guide takes one question we are asked on the job and answers it properly: how the system works, what the symptom usually means, and where the job stops being something to check and becomes licensed work.
Every guide lists its sources, and none of them asks you to open up the gas, electrical or pressurised side of a system. If a guide points to a fault, the next step is a plumber.
